Web Colors and Hex Values Information

All color, whether on the World Wide Web or in real life :-) is the result of the mixing of light.

For instance, mixing red, green and blue (in the web-safe colors) gives white.

Web-safe color codes are represented by a six-digit hexadecimal notation, which ranges from "000000" for black to "FFFFFF" for white.

The first two digits in hexadecimal notation for web-safe colors are the amount of red, the second two digits represent the amount of green and the third set of two digits show the amount of blue in the color.
